Do you have minimums for delivery?

Yes, rental orders must meet a minimum to qualify for delivery. Delivery minimums are based on distance from our location in the State of Delaware. This is due to travel time for employees and wear on company vehicles. The delivery minimum for Delaware is $275 (based on order & other fees may apply), outside radius of 2.5 hrs maximum is $900 (based on order & other fees may apply),  etc. Contact us for the delivery minimum for your event’s location. There is a delivery charge in addition to the order minimums.  Rental is for 3 days but longer rentals are available for a fee.

How do you calculate delivery prices?

Delivery and travel charges are calculated with consideration of the size of order (size of vehicle required), event details, distance, and delivery schedule for the date of the event.  We do delivery and set up outside the Delaware area to include anywhere within the Delmarva Region and including New Jersey, New York (depending on distance), Washington, DC.  A delivery charge will apply outside of Delaware. Some Delaware deliveries may be subject to a delivery charge.  If hotel accommodations are needed for a delivery outside of 160 miles of Delaware, that will be included in the delivery fee.
There is an order minimum to qualify for delivery outside of Delaware.  Minimum order amounts are determined based on the distance from Delaware. For example Dover or surrounding area (1.5-2 hour travel time) order minimum $500-$600,  (2.5-3 hour travel time) order minimum $800, etc.  Other fees apply.
Delivery charge is based on type and size of the order, travel distance, and event details.

What is the damage deposit? Is the damage deposit refundable?

I Do Vintage Rentals, LLC retains a damage deposit in the amount of 20% of your subtotal. Due to the nature of our inventory, items are often fragile. There is always the risk of loss or damage. If the order is returned in the condition it was sent out, the damage deposit will be refunded in full. If items are damaged or missing, the replacement cost will be withheld from that deposit, and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded. If the damage or loss exceeds the deposit amount, the customer is responsible for the balance.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit (25% of your total rental cost) is required two weeks before your event to cover possible damage or loss of an item. If all items are returned without damage, the deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days. If damage exceeds the deposit, you will be billed for additional costs see contract for details.

When are the deposits to reserve date and final payment due?

If you decide to rent with us, a signed contract and a 50% nonrefundable deposit on the rental total is needed to commit to the rental and reserve your inventory. Items are reserved for your date and may not be removed once the deposit is paid.  Final payment must be made no later than 14 days prior to the delivery date set & if check given for payment, must be cleared.
Final quantities may not be changed by more than 10% of the quantity for which the deposit was paid.

Can I visit the showroom to look at your inventory?

Yes! However, since we operate out of a residence & a storage facility, we only accept visits based on appointment. As an alternative, we offer custom Pinterest, Facebook, & Google photo boards to discuss.


The rental period is up to three days. Longer term contracts and rates are available.
A personalized proposal will be created for you and can be adjusted as needed before your final decision is made.  Any personalized material will be required as a separate purchase.
Customers are responsible for the replacement/repair costs of items damaged or lost during the rental period.  See Contract for more details.
Rental fees for items include a cleaning fee prior to delivery and upon the order’s return. If excessive labor is involved in cleaning items once they are returned (due to stains, rust, wax, etc.), an additional charge will apply.  All China rental includes the cleaning fee.  We prefer to clean these items due to a risk of damage.

All rental items delivery based on weather if venue is located outside, the security of venue.  See contract for details or inquire with us.
